Warehouseguys is your typical discount online store where buyers can purchase an array of homeware items. Providing a “no frills” business, the focus is on offering a large number of things at a good price rather than a few pretty things at high prices. The building is a large two-storey house with a patio and is situated right on the intersection and facing Hyde Park Road. It is easily identified but the large red and white Warehouseguys signs over the building’s exterior and a hot tub of the roof. It 6500 LED lights, 900-plus of which are white and outline the house. inside the building are seven model kitchens which the owners hope will encourage customers to come and view the showroom.

This enables them to offer the products at considerably lower prices in the short term than their competitors, and also helps build their customers faith in them. They say that one of the biggest problems of having an online store and website of this kind is that of supply. However, with the large premises offered by Hyde Park properties, more established business and increased financing; they are working on building up their stock so that they do not have supply issues.
The online homewares store has experienced an annual growth rate of 25% since 2007, and the partners are now financially able to build on their supplies. They are currently working on building their reputation and are hoping to become the place builders refer homeowners to for household items. Visit the online store at www.warehouseguys.com/.
Hyde parks Winter Wonderland amusement park has always pulled in the punters like no-one’s business. Over the course of seven weeks, over two million visitors flocked to the rides located on the prestigious Hyde Park property belt. Despite intensely snowy conditions throughout the freezing cold December month, the Winter Wonderland in London prospered beyond all expectations. The Winter Wonderland is miles upon miles of entertainment, pubs, dancing venues, entertainment options and other frozen goodness wrapped up in the friendly heart of the UK.
Tourists and celebrities the world over visited the Winter Wonderland, with famous names such as Prince Harry, Fearne Cotton, Liz Hurley, David Ginola, Liam Gallagher, Louise and Jamie Redknapp, Alexandra Burke, Olly Murs, Sarah Harding and Kate Moss paying visit to the park – Europe’s finest and friendliest locals spent millions of Pounds on the attractions which will in turn, bring bigger and better rides for the proceeding years.
The world’s largest outdoor ice rink was also constructed at the Winter Wonderland. It was an enormous 15,000 square foot behemoth that attracted well over half a million skaters and raked in a further fortune for the successful theme park. As for the giant Wheel of Observation, it rotated over 100,000 times over the course of the weeks – like a silent passenger in the night it rocked romantic couples into blissful amusement.
Other thrilling rides that attracted locals who flocked from their Hyde Park properties to visit the show included the black hole, Santa’s Sleigh, The Christmas Coaster and The Power Tower. With the kids, Santa’s Grotto was the biggest hit. Other fun-filled shows included Zippos and the Winter Cirque Shows. At the end of 2010, the Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park even managed to snag the best Consumer Event award by Visit London. This was an unforgettable and profitable event and one that will be repeated year after year.
Whether you’re a construction worker, an accountant or a work for letting agents, Hyde Park was the place to be last month, and the reason for this is that Kings of Leon were headlining the UK Park show for 60 000 fans. One of the greatest surprises of that particular Kings of Leon concert is that the band decided to play 4 new songs for the crowd, all of which were brilliantly received. The Kings of Leon band members have confirmed that they will continue to play new material, despite rumours of strict instructions from their management not to.
The four new singles that Kings of Leon performed live at Hyde Park included songs titled Southbound, Immortals and Radioactive. When introducing the new songs to the 60 000 strong audience, Kings of Leon lead singer Caleb Followill said to the crowd:
“Since we saw you guys last we went and made a record. That’s what we put a lot of work into. Just yesterday some people at the record label got to hear a couple of songs from it. I don’t know if they want us to play a bunch of new songs but I think, ‘F#@k it’ – we’re going to do it!”
The Kings of Leon lead singer later admitted in an interview that it was important the band members that they get to play new material and not just crowd favourites such as Sex on Fire and Use Somebody. He followed up by saying that the thrill of a live Kings of Leon concert really kicks in when you’re playing a new song to the crowd without knowing whether or not they’re going to like it or not.
Kings of Leon can be seen live again in the UK when they headline at this year’s V festival. If you’re heading through to the festival, ensure that you are ready for a Kings of Leon concert that is a good mix of old and new tunes.
Headlining at Hyde Park is a sure sign that a band has “made it”. Joining the likes of Stevie Wonder, Pearl Jam, Jamiroquai and Paul McCartney in performing at Hyde Park in June, is the much anticipated show from Kings of Leon. Not only can they be credited with the honour of headlining on the same stage as these bands, but for this year The Kings of Leon are probably the most anticipated act of them all.
This will be first opportunity for UK music fans to see The Kings of Leon Live on stage since the Leeds festival last year. That tour consisted of 4 sold out shows at London’s O2 Arena, 2 shows at Manchester’s MEN Arena and then headlining at the Reading and Leeds Festivals. The days of supporting headliners such as U2, The Strokes and Bob Dylan are truly a thing of the past as Kings of Leon are now drawing bigger crowds than most bands around the world.
This year’s show at Hyde Park on the 30th of June will see The Kings of Leon performing a selection of the massive hits from the last decade as well as a number of new songs from the latest Kings of Leon album which is still in progress. If you keen to check out Kings of Leon, tickets are available from £47.50 and are available from www.livenation.co.uk.
The Hyde Park shows for Kings of Leon and other acts performing this year have already caused Estate agent Paddington (as Hyde Park is nearby) as well as estate agents London to experience a massive influx of property rentals for fans making their way from around the country to see The Kings of Leon Live in Hyde Park.
