February 1, 2012 News No Comments

Devastation and destruction are not things anyone wants to think about. In fact people see it happening all over the world, but they very rarely prepare for it because believing it won’t happen to them. However there is a serious movement in the United States who take preparing for disaster as seriously as they do heart attacks.

Labelled ‘Preppers’ for obvious reasons, this large group of people scattered all across the country, have assembled everything from gun collections, fully-stocked bunkers, a swimming pool full of fish, to self-sustaining farms, seed banks and escape plans from the cities. Everything from hardwearing safety clothing and rigger boots to personal documentation kits are stowed away in bunkers and basements, as part of disaster survival preparation.

Megan Hurwitt, a young urbanite enjoys a good party, and has her whole life in front of her. Megan enjoys driving around in her Mustang convertible and takes time to enjoy her life. Megan is also a prepper, and one of the more serious natural disaster preparers, from the looks of things.
