The sleepy town of Prince Albert is about to get a stunning new addition to its industrial sector. A cheese factory will be opening soon and it will be stocking the finest selection of 200 different kinds of cheese, as well as a great selection of deli foods, and butchery with exceptional meat, at great prices.
Incoming
The cheese factory is still awaiting council approval but judging from the excellent reception the idea received it appears that the green light will be given shortly. A speedy approval is hoped for as everyone is quite excited about shopping for a variety of cheeses, cold meats and other fresh produce straight off the industrial shelving.
Started by Scott Bartlett who is a Prince Albert local, the bulk cheese warehouse was first opened in 1987 on Broadway Avenue. Starting out as a small shop this cheese business has exploded over the past ten years and expanded to include speciality meat deli and some very interesting cheeses. The cheese factory, or warehouse, won’t only specialise in the creamy delicacy but also look at ready-made meals, and fresh salads.
This new business is highly anticipated for Prince Albert as it will add something special to the already unique town. Bartlett is extremely excited to get approval so he can get cheese factory underway and start renovating his selected warehouse. He’s also starting a small grocery store which he plans on stocking with the finest of speciality products. The deli grocery store will also feature a butchery, which has the best meats. Bartlett’s know his meats from his other butchery stores and says that they can sell hundreds of cuts each week with AAA and New York’s ribs eye being firm favourites.
Look out for the new cheese factory and warehouse coming to Prince Albert. Its shelves and mezzanine flooring will be filled with the finest groceries and deli food selections.

The world knows him as the “Father of Radio.” Guglielmo Marconi invented the radio and it was his invention that saved the lives of many on the Titanic, allowed troops to speak to one another across are borders, and his legacy continues to influence our lives with radio transmissions, iPads, laptops, blue tooth and mobiles. Unfortunately Guglielmo’s home of invention, his Chelmsford factory where it all took place, lies in ruins.
Guglielmo Marconi
The factory in Chelmsford became home to Marconi’s invention and transmissions as his burgeoning empire grew thanks to the
amassing orders of maritime wireless radio equipment. Sadly the warehouse was left to crumble under the unrelenting weather elements. Now the council are hoping someone will cough up £14million to restore the famous factory. It’s a landmark that should not be left to rot and fall apart. A group called the “Changing Chelmsford Team” took a tour of the derelict building and found Marconi’s office had all near fallen apart aside from the drab brown curtains. The warehouse could be restored to its former glory with mezzanine companies and construction crews coming in to inject some life, awaken the atmosphere and revive it to its former glory.
Guglielmo gave the world an amazing gift that will forever be utilised, regardless of decade or century. His discovery is the backbone of international communication through whatever digital means are currently available. The factory is currently an open canvas with so much room for improvement, but it remains important that even with new mezzanine floor construction, additional rooms and a fresh lick of paint, Guglielmo Marconi’s memory and hard work is depicted with integrity.

The Gozo Tunnel has been making a splash in Malta news of late and questions have arisen as to what an impact it will have of business, travel and the EU stronghold in earnest; Malta has remained a strong player in the EU despite the Euro Zone issues. The Malta-Gozo tunnel is proposed to be an underwater channel connecting the two main island regions of Malta; it makes sense for uniting the country although some complain it undercuts the ferry business; most companies in Malta should benefit from the tunnel though. According to the latest news from Malta the primary consideration at the moment is how feasible the project is geographically. Research into how structurally sound the tunnel will turn out should be reported any day now, could even be later today, in Malta news and the results should give an idea how much more money will need to be spent on additional reinforcement of the excavation.
As explained by the Malta Times News, the main benefit will be had by commuters coming from Gozo who’ve previously been at the mercy of the ferries, but will be able to drive their cars to Malta on solid ground for the first time. This opens up possibilities for Malta permanent residence on Gozo Island looking even more attractive than it did previously among other auxiliary benefits. The sale of cars on the island may also increase opening new business opportunities.
However there are a few disadvantages that need to be addressed before we get too excited about the tunnel. The one obvious one being that so many cars on the road infrastructure of an island not designed to take so much traffic may lead to uncomfortable situations; won’t be long before car accidents become a regular breaking news item in Malta. Another disadvantage is the increased pollution that will serve a companion to additional traffic and increased visitors. However these issues tend to be both good and bad; with good management it should be no problem to enhance the benefits and minimise the negatives and this Malta news is good for all.

With everything beginning to settle in Libya and the future looking more positive on the ground, Malta is looking to continue their support in new business opportunities and support for Libya, which has the potential to be the Dubai of the Mediterranean. Many industries of business in Malta, as well as the government, are keen to renew their strong relationship with Libya with the new transitional government keen to develop the relationship for mutual benefits.
On a political level, many talks have been ongoing between the Minister of Finance for Malta and the representatives of the National Transitional Council for Libya (NTC). These talks are focused around opportunities for new business as well as financial assistance in the early days of rebuilding the economy of the North African country. One of the factors being discussed is the unfreezing of Libyan assets that are frozen in Malta and that will be released to the new government over the coming months of reconstruction. These assets belong to the Gadafi family and have been frozen by the EU and UN through political sanctions that were leveraged. The funds will be transferred over to the country for the purposes of bettering the lives of the Libyan people, and the Malta government has assisted this process every step of the way.
Investment in Libya is looking fantastic for all Malta companies looking to expand their market into new business opportunities. Companies looking to operate in Libya will need to consult accountants or lawyers regarding Malta corporate tax requirements in these new ventures, but due to the limitations of local markets, overseas investment brings about great benefits and the opportunity to assist in rebuilding the Libyan economy. Flights are a key feature of connectivity between the two countries and the tourism industry in Libya has been aided by Maltese efforts for many decades. Recent medical efforts during the crisis have strengthened the collaboration between the nations as well. Business opportunities will be plentiful in upcoming months and the true test will be to build benefits for both Malta and Libya through these ventures.
