For the ninth year in a row, Malta’s Lotteries and Gaming Authority (LGA) participated in this year’s International Gaming and Trade Exhibition in Earl’s Court, London. What makes this year’s trade exhibition show special is the level of involvement that Malta contributed. While in previous year’s Malta’s presence has been significant, an impressive 50% of the remote gaming stands were dominated by Maltese. The international trade exhibition has a focus on entertainment gaming and goes a long way to showcase Malta as a prime investment location for this industry. A delegation from the LGA met with operators and service providers bestowing relevant information about the remote gaming regulatory network in Malta. Malta businesses in gaming continue to grow and become a force that is well recognised as thriving to the rest of Europe.

Every hero or heroine stands above the rest for putting their life on the line to save someone else’s. Plumber Jobs Popular Among Women

January 31, 2012 Current Affairs No Comments

The stereotype exists for a reason; an overweight plumber bends over awkwardly under your kitchen sink revealing more than is necessary. Plumber jobs should designate a certain level of craft professionalism and many plumping firms do exist that come suited out in uniforms and professional courtesy. Yet the public’s view of maintenance plumber jobs is that of dirt, grime and ill-mannered men trouncing at accidently stubbing a toe. While this image is perpetuated for comic relief in popular television shows and films, the reality is about to change for the better in the coming years. According to reports 300,000 trainee plumber jobs and vacancies are available through the UK and now more than ever women are flocking to the craft.

He’s the classic extreme archaeologist. Collecting archaic trinkets from centuries past, he possesses some mean skills with a whip and has a penchant for escaping situations that would, realistically, spell disaster. He’s back. The Indiana Jones National Geographic exhibit has moved to Principe Felipe Science Museum, in Valencia, Spain. The highly educational exhibit opened on December 22, 2011 and will close on September 16, 2012.

Featuring Indiana Jones, the quintessential combination of archaeological intelligence and Chuck Norris’ fearless nature – well, Indy’s almost fearless nature (he’s terrified of snakes) – in his hard-body manly hard wearing work trousers, torn shirt and untidy hair covered by his trusty hat – the exhibit focuses on teaching the public about very real artefacts uncovered through the ages.
